Matt Sutton led Osbourn (8-0, 2-0 Cedar Run) with six goals and three assists.
Mason Smith recorded three goals and an assist and Kiel Cooke collected two goals and two assists.
Alex Maguire, David Narron, Thomas Narron and Steven Slayton also scored for the Eagles.
• FOREST PARK 14, MOUNTAIN VIEW 5: Corey Ferguson led the Bruins with five goals and three as-sists. Landon Jones tallied four goals and three assists, while Tyler McCullough added three goals and one assist for Forest Park (5-0). Dane Richards and Marcus Tedesco each scored once, and Stephen Palmateer collected 12 ground balls.
GIRLS LACROSSE
• OSBOURN 8, CULPEPER 5: Brandy Brode scored three goals and Ginny Iames recorded 10 groundballs and seven interceptions as the Eagles opened Cedar Run play with a victory. Iames added two goals and an assist, while Corrie Mitchell scored once and tallied three assists. Morgan Campbell had one goal and one assist for Osbourn (6-2, 1-0), and Kelsey Ibarrientos scored once. Amber Meek recorded 12 saves.
• OSBOURN PARK 9, LIBERTY 8: Katie Gonzalez scored four times and Aidan Priest had five assists to help the Yellow Jackets defeat Liberty. Anne Marie Moore posted three goals and an assist, Maggie Breeden had a goal and an assist, and Kira Bolton scored once. Liesl Diefenderfer had 10 saves for OP (3-5, 1-0).
• BATTLEFIELD 16, FAUQUIER 2: Jessica Jacobson recorded seven goals, two assists and five ground balls in leading Battlefield to a win.
Battlefield’s Ali Schumacher had four goals and five ground balls and Lesley Chambers played a key role — two goals, one assist, six ground balls — for the Bobcats (5-1, 1-0 Cedar Run).
Chanel Figueroa chipped in nine ground balls for Battlefield and Kim Esteban and Morgan Clark both had four ground balls.
Bobcats goalkeeper Caitlin Hester recorded 12 saves.
BOYS TENNIS
• HYLTON 9, GAR-FIELD 0: Hylton improved to 3-1 on the season with a sweep of Gar-Field.
Anshul Palli, Vick Vashisht, Daniel Arnez, Raymond Willis, Francis Cabrera and Scott Tringali all won matches for the Bulldogs.
• WOODBRIDGE 9, POTOMAC 0: Woodbridge stayed undefeated by rolling past Potomac.
The Vikings’ winners included Brandon Larsen, Brandon Bilewski, Greg Hawrysko, Ingu Lee, Nathan Cruz and Paul Clare. All six also teamed up for doubles wins for Woodbridge (9-0, 4-0 Cardinal District).
• BATTLEFIELD 5, OSBOURN 4: The Bobcats won a close match with wins from No. 4, 5, and 6 singles. Peter Jones was victorious 6-1, 6-4, while John Pastore picked up a 6-2, 7-5 win. Luke Persian battled to a 6-4, 2-6, 7-6 (7-5) win as well. In doubles action, Justin Riley and Brandon Malley shut out their No. 2 opponents 10-0, while Jones and Pastore won 10-2.
For the Eagles, No. 1 Kevin Primeau won 6-4 6-2, while Sean Campbell (6-2, 6-4) and Dan Hughes (6-4, 6-0) also posted wins. Primeau and Campbell were victorious 10-3 in doubles action.
GIRLS TENNIS
• WOODBRIDGE 6, POTOMAC 3: The Vikings moved their record to 4-2 overall and 4-1 against Cardinal District opponents with the road-win Monday.
Emily Schrieber (6-1, 6-3), Rachel Carr (6-0, 6-0), Madeline Burgos (6-1, 6-4) and Meredith Peters (6-0, 6-3) all recorded singles wins for Woodbridge. Schrieber and Carr combined for a 10-7 win in doubles and Peters and Kim Hinrichsen scored a 10-8 victory.
Natalie Otsulea (6-4, 3-6, 7-6 (7-5)) and Ashlee Cheek (6-2, 7-5) won for the Panthers in singles while Hira Ni-azi and Rima Janiusiewicz won 11-10 (7-5) in doubles.
• FOREST PARK 9, FREEDOM 0: Forest Park defeated Freedom to remain perfect on the season (4-0, 4-0 Cardinal).
The Bruins’ No. 1 singles player Reagan Travis won 6-0, 6-0. Chelsea McClure (6-0, 6-0), Beth Snodgrass (4-6, 6-3, 6-1), Katrina Brown (6-1 6-1), Haley Rahl (6-2, 6-1) and Grace Baldwin (6-4, 6-1) all won in singles action.
McClure and Brown won 8-0 at No. 1 doubles. Travis and Snodgrass won 8-1 at No. 2 doubles and the No. 3 doubles team of Rawls and Melissa Cunningham won 8-3.
• LIBERTY 8, STONEWALL JACKSON 1: The Raiders (2-8) dropped a match on Monday.
Kristen Davis, Stonewall’s No. 1 singles player, defeated Katie Scheaffer 6-4, 3-6, 6-1 to record her team’s lone victory.
• LOUDOUN VALLEY 6, OSBOURN PARK 3: Osbourn Park lost a Cedar Run District match on Monday.
Kelly Flom won for the Yellow Jackets (4-2) at No. 4 singles 7-5, 6-1. Osbourn Park’s No. 6 singles Michele Flom won 6-1, 3-6, 6-4.
Michele Flom teamed with Mandy Arnette to win 10-3 at No. 3 doubles.
