CHANEL FIGUEROA
Senior, Battlefield
Figueroa had 101 ground balls and tied for the team lead with 19 turnovers; she was all-district and all-region.
KAREN GLASS
Senior, Potomac
Glass, a key component to the Panthers’ defense, was first-team All-Cardinal District and second-team All-Northwest Region.
GIANNA GRASSILLI
Senior, Hylton
A key defender for the Cardinal champion Bulldogs, Grassilli was first-team all-district and all-region.
LAUREN HAUCK
Senior, Forest Park
One of the Bruins’ most experienced players ended her career with first-team All-Cardinal District and All-Northwest Region honors.
VIRGINIA HYER
Junior, Battlefield
Hyer tied with Figueroa for the team lead in turnovers and was a first-team all-district and second-team all-region selection.
KATIE LARRABEE
Senior, Forest Park
A key player in the strength of the Bruins’ squad, Larrabee was first-team all-district and second-team all-region.
MAGGIE O’NEILL
Senior, Potomac
The area’s most prolific scorer, O’Neill was a first-team All-Cardinal District pick and second-team all-region.
ALI SCHUMACHER
Junior, Battlefield
Schumacher was the leading scorer among Battlefield’s attack and was first-team all-district and all-region.
CAROLINE STRAND
Junior, Woodbridge
Strand was one of several underclassmen in the Vikings’ lineup that produced solid results, including an upset of Forest Park in the Cardinal District semifinals. Strand, a first-team all-district pick, was one of six non-seniors on the first team.
COURTNEY TAYON
Sophomore, Forest Park
Tayon wasn’t expected to be the starter for the Bruins, but wound up earning first-team All-Cardinal District honors.
