MP freshman wins at regions

Manassas Park freshman Sharese Roberts won the 100, 200 and 400-meter dash at the recent Region B track meet to lead the Cougars to a fifth place finish in the girls’ competition.
Her 100-meter dash time was 12.58. Roberts also ran the 200 in 26.03 and the 400 in 58.88.
On the boys’ side, Manassas Park’s Dominique Terrell finished seventh in the 100-meter dash (11.59). He also finished sixth in the 200 (23.49).
Manassas Park senior Jeff Teav finished fourth in the boys’ 300-meter hurdles in 41.80. Teammate Mike McCarthy placed third in the 800-meter run (2:02.12).
Manassas Park’s Adan Abdulle ran 10:34.40 to place fourth in the 3200-meter run.
