• OSBOURN PARK 5, HYLTON 0: The Yellow Jackets had five different players score in the non-district contest as OP improved to 7-8 overall. Lauren Stewart, Jessica Lowman, Katelynn Basala, Natalie Blanchetti and Mercedes Cox each recorded goals in the game.
VOLLEYBALL
• FOREST PARK 3, HYLTON 0: Forest Park improved to 7-1 and remained tied for first place in the Cardinal District by beating the Bulldogs 25-17, 25-20, 25-15. The Bruins are 10-6 overall.
• GAR-FIELD 3, POTOMAC 2: Disa Smith recorded 12 digs, 18 service points and 10 kills to help the Indians earn a 19-25, 25-20, 25-23, 20-25, 15-12 Cardinal District victory.
Gar-Field’s Kaitlyn Mahoney contributed 12 service points and Kristi Arbogast had eight kills.
Kirstin Griffith contributed 21 assists for Gar-Field.
• RAPPAHANNOCK CO. 3, MANASSAS PARK 2: The Cougars took the first game but the Panthers ultimately won in five, 23-25, 25-23, 25-13, 20-25, 15-10.
Leann Breeden led Manassas Park with 14 kills, Alyssa Robinson had a team-high 27 assists and Angie Oliver added nine digs.
• BATTLEFIELD 3, STONEWALL JACKSON 2: Nikkisha Walker had five service aces, two blocks and 11 kills to lift the Bobcats on senior night to a pivotal 24-26, 26-24, 17-25, 25-22, 15-11 Cedar Run District victory.
Virginia Hyer had 21 assists for the Bobcats (10-8, 8-6 Cedar Run) and Lesley Chambers and Kelly Milione had 13 and nine kills, respectively.
