Travis Lehman tossed a complete game six-hitter, allowing two earned runs on seven strikeouts and one walk. Lehman, Coffey, and Turner were selected to the all-tournament team, while Turner was named the tournament MVP.
On Saturday, the Eagles advanced to the final after defeating Lawrence Academy (N.C.) 5-4. Devon Snow was 1 for 3 with a home run, Cory Turner 2 for 4, Travis Lehman 3 for 3 and Damien Waterman 2 for 3. Bran-don Coffey pitched a complete game for Osbourn, allowing two earned runs and five hits and striking out four.
• STONEWALL JACKSON 5, WOODBRIDGE 3: Matt Snyder hit a two-run home run in the eighth inning to push Stonewall Jackson past Woodbridge in extra innings. Josh Cesario pitched six innings of four-hit ball for the Raiders (3-1), while Buddy Fields came on in the sixth to pick up his first win of the season. Fields also went 2 for 4 at the plate, while Jay Jay Zehring went 3 for 4 and drove in two runs.
For the Vikings (5-1), Josh Robinson struck out three over seven innings, while Joey Spadell and Christian Warrell each collected two hits.
SOFTBALL
• OSBOURN 4, FOREST PARK 3: Ashleigh Williams had two hits, and as a pitcher, struck out eight in leading Osbourn to a non-district win.
Osbourn’s Ashley Boteler also had a hit and two RBI. She pitched one and a third innings, allowed no hits and recorded two strikeouts.
Brittany Barlow went 3-for-4 for Osbourn (4-2), which recorded 10 hits.
BOYS LACROSSE
• OSBOURN 7, WOODBRIDGE 4: Kiel Cooke and David Narron scored three goals apiece to help Osbourn defeat Woodbridge. Cooke and Alex Maguire each had two assists for the Eagles (2-0), and Matt Sutton added a goal. Jamie Jewett also posted one assist.
GIRLS LACROSSE
• HYLTON 17, STONEWALL JACKSON 0: Lauren Fletcher and Karly Lynch each scored five times as Hylton easily defeated Stonewall Jackson. Rachel Stoker added four goals, while Jazzmyn Ellis, Kaitlen Brown, and Tia Daubach each contributed one goal. Daubach also tallied four assists.
TENNIS
• STONEWALL JACKSON 5, WOODBRIDGE 1: The Raiders nearly swept the Vikings (0-1) at Wood-bridge with wins from No. 1 Krissy Davis (6-0, 6-0), No. 2 Emilie Bouchet (7-5, 3-6, 6-0), No. 3 Olivia Bouchet (6-2, 6-7, 6-2), No. 5 Angela Ellica (6-3, 6-1) and No. 6 Lee Senderwitsh (6-1, 6-0).
Meredith Peters, Woodbridge’s No. 4 player, scored the Vikings’ lone victory on the court, 4-6, 6-4, 6-2.
