GIRLS TENNIS
• OSBOURN PARK 9, CULPEPER 0: Osbourn Park (2-1) received singles wins from No. 1 Shanique Alabi 6-2, 6-2, No. 2. Chelsea Gray 6-3, 6-1 and No. 3 Libby Butler 6-2 6-4.
No. 4 Mandy Arnett won 6-2, 6-1, No. 5 Kelly Flom won 6-0 6-4 and No. 6 Michele Flom won 6-0 6-0.
Alabi and Gray won at No. 1 doubles 11-10 (7-4), Butler and Kelly Flom were victorious at No. 2 doubles 11-10 (7-2) and Arnett and Michele Flom won 10-4 at No. 3 doubles.
• BRENTSVILLE 8, WARREN COUNTY 1: The Tigers defeated Warren County to pick up their first win on the year. No. 1 Stephanie Dunn and No. 2 Anna Boning each picked up 10-6 wins, while No. 3 Jill Narianos and No. 4 Kelsey Brewster contributed 10-3 and 10-8 wins, respectively. Shannon Fasing lost a close matchup, while No. 6 Irene Soto defeated her opponent 10-1. In doubles action for Brentsville (1-2), Dunn and Boning picked up a 10-4 victory, Narianos and Brewster won via a tie-breaker, and Fasing teamed up with Katie Smith for a 10-8 win.
SOFTBALL
• BATTLEFIELD 5, CULPEPER 0: Battlefield’s Megan Sutphin was the winning pitcher, allow-ing eight hits, walking one and recording two strikeouts. She also went 2-for-4.
Brittany Clendenny helped Battlefield (6-1, 2-0) by going 2-for-3 with two RBI and Kelsey Cockrill had an RBI as well.
Kelsie Scott made a diving catch in the outfield to halt a Culpeper rally.
• OSBOURN 1, FAUQUIER 0: Ashley Boteler drove in the lone run with a double off the center-field fence to help the Eagles nip Fauquier. Ashleigh Williams tossed a two-hitter to improve her record to 4-3. Boteler finished 2 for 3 for Osbourn (5-3, 1-1), while Williams, Shaela Wilhelm, Katie Brennan, and Nikki Peros each collected one hit.
• BRENTSVILLE 7, WARREN COUNTY 0: Devon Hileman struck out 10 and allowed only two hits as Brentsville blanked Warren County. Kaitlyn Barbour drove in three runs on two doubles, and Emily Neitzke went 2 for 4 with an RBI. Becki Tucker went 3 for 4 with a double for the Tigers (5-0).

BASEBALL
• BRENTSVILLE 10, WARREN COUNTY 0: Scott Betterly needed only 59 pitches to help Brentsville shut down Warren County in five innings. Betterly (2-0) struck out six, while surrender-ing two hits and not allowing a walk. Justin Frazier drove in three runs for the Tigers (7-1, 3-0), while Chase Garrison went 3 for 3 with two RBI and three runs scored. Tyler LeGrand added two triples and a double, and Betterly went 3 for 3 with 2 RBI.
GIRLS LACROSSE
• OSBOURN 12, NOTRE DAME 3: Brandy Brode scored five goals to help Osbourn power past Notre Dame. Meghan Vahey added four goals for the Eagles (4-2), while Corrie Mitchell tallied two goals and an assist. Ginny Iames scored once, while Morgan Campbell and Hannah Eldredge each contributed an assist. Amber Meek had 15 saves.
GIRLS SOCCER
• CHRIST CHAPEL 2, ISLAMIC SAUDI ACADEMY 1: Christ Chapel picked up a win in its season opener. Savoy Bryant scored once, while Siena Darville added a goal off an assist from Dan-ielle Beard. Anni Dibert had two saves.
• WOODBRIDGE 2, OSBOURN PARK 1: Kristen Lybert and Kimmie Cummings each scored once to help the Vikings defeat OP. Kathleen Smith and Katie Douez tallied an assist apiece for Woodbridge (3-1).
• BRENTSVILLE 4, WARREN COUNTY 1: Ashley Grant scored three goals to lead Brentsville to a Northwestern District victory.
Mariafe Sanchez also scored for the Tigers (4-0, 2-0).
Brentsville’s Kelsey Reighard recorded two assists and Kelsi Whalen one.
Sarah Schmidt scored Warren County’s lone goal.

BOYS SOCCER
• BATTLEFIELD 4, CULPEPER 0: Franco Buzzalino scored once and added one assist to help the Bobcats remain undefeated. Kyle Beach, Adam Clements, and Thomas Mayhuth also scored one goal apiece for Battlefield (4-0). Vuhy Phan and Reid McKee each added an assist, while Alan Hin-ton and Michael Hinkle shared the shutout. Chris Wilson, Andy Lim, Duke Mensah and Kevin Lopez paced the defense.
• BRENTSVILLE 1, WARREN COUNTY 0: Jimmy Ford scored off a cross from Chris Bour-bonnais as the Tigers defeated Warren County. Mike Madigan had two saves for Brentsville (2-1).
