Williams was one of five Prince William County players to earn all-state honors.
The reigning Cardinal District Player of the Year was selected to the first team after going 32 for 64 in 18 games for the Bulldogs. She is committed to the University of Virginia.
Battlefield catcher Courtney Liddle, Stonewall Jackson pitcher Melissa Kirby, Woodbridge catcher Amanda Hernandez, Forest Park center fielder Chelsea Paprocki and Brentsville infielder Abby Carpenter joined Williams on the all-state team.
Battlefield’s Joe Schelzo was voted the Group AAA Coach of the Year after guiding the Bobcats to a school-record 25 victories, the Northwest Region championship and a runner-up finish in the state tournament.
Liddle, who batted .403 with a .583 on-base percentage, made the all-state second team. She is committed to Virginia Tech.
Kirby, who won 12 games and had an 0.98 ERA in the circle for the Raiders, was an honorable mention selection, along with Hernandez, who led the Vikings to regionals by batting .423 with 20 RBI.
Paprocki was also named to the honorable mention team after hitting .470 for the Cardinal Dis-trict champions.
Carpenter, who hit .525 as a freshman for the Northwestern District champion Tigers, was se-lected to the All-Group AA second team.
