3 on 3 Tournament
Recreation Manassas and the Boys and Girls Club is holding a 3-on-3 tournament Oct. 18 to raise money for Manassas recreation. Pre-registration is $25 for teams up to five. Registration is being accepted for the Virginia Hokies AAU league. Fee is $80 for members, $105 for non-members. The Haymarket Senators Baseball Team will host Blue Ridge Baseball’s 1st Annual Golf Tournament at the Evergreen Country Club on Oct. 20 in Haymarket. ICE SKATING
Camp
Camp runs Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Camp includes daily stretching class, daily ice skating lesson, daily ice show practice and daily free skate, daily outdoor activities and crafts. Skaters will be able to perform in the ice show on Friday evenings. The cost is $250 per week before care is also available for an additional cost. Carteret Mortgage Boys & Girls Club has begun a Martial Arts program for children ages 6-14. There’s open enrollment until all spots are filled. Bull Run Association
Bull Run Officials seeking individuals interested in becoming sports officials. Bull Run Officials is a member of the Virginia High School League Association that handles basketball, softball, baseball and football. Levels of competition vary from youth recreation to Group AAA high schools. Assignments are in Prince William, Fairfax, Stafford, Loudoun County as well as other Northern Virginia areas. 5K Race
The fourth annual Falcon Bruin 5K and Fun Run will take place Sat. Oct. 18 at 8 a.m. at Ashland Elementary School. Participants of all ages are welcome.

Coaches needed
The Prince William Girls Fastpitch Softball league is looking for volunteers to coach girls fastpitch softball for the fall season. PWGFS needs coaches for the following age divisions: 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U and 16U. Volunteers must be at least 18 years old and pass a criminal background check. Coaching Clinic
The North Stafford coaching clinic takes place Nov. 7 at North Stafford High School from 7-9:30 p.m. Cost is $45 in advance, $50 at the door. Concepts covered will be the principles of coaching, practice planning, specific skills, throwing, fielding, pitching, hitting drills, catching and handouts.

Greater Manassas Softball Association and coaches of the 10U Manassas Blaze will host two skills clinics for beginners and two covering the basics of windmill pitching. Specialty Clinic
The North Stafford softball specialty clinic will take place Nov. 8 at North Stafford HS for players ages 8-18. The clinic will be divided into four hour and a half sessions covering beginning pitching and catching, advanced pitching and catching, infield basics and hitting basics. Running Store Adult Running Club
There are several opportunities for adult runners. Free group runs every Saturday morning at 8:30 a.m. at The Running Store in Gainesville. Hylton hosting clinic
Hylton will host a middle school girls clinic, Saturday, Oct. 11th from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. for Prince William County girls. All girls, grades 6-8, interested in attending the clinic, need to contact Al DeWitt at 703-580-4076 or . The deadline for registration is Oct. 1. The cost is $25 for an individual or $100 for a team of 6 to 8. Late registration is $30 for an individual or $110 for a team. Each girl will receive a T-shirt. Instruction and clinic activities will be conducted by the Hylton volleyball coaching staff. Interested persons can have the entry forms e-mailed to them by contacting me by email or by phone.
WRESTLING
Cougar Wrestling Club Registration
CWC is having signups every Tuesday and Thursday in October except the 16th from 6-7:30 p.m. for boys and girls ages 5-14 eager to learn wrestling techniques, agility skills, discipline and participate in eight meets. CWC is located behind Manassas Park Middle School by the bus lot inside the wrestling center. Cost is $85 until Oct. 30, $95 after. All new participants must bring a copy of their birth certificate.
