Gar-Field grad advances to Olympic finals

Gar-Field High School graduate Sheena Tosta has advanced to the finals of the 400-meter hurdles at the Beijing Olympics.
On Monday, Tosta posted the best time (54.07) of the 16 participants competing in the two semifinal heats.
For the final, Tosta will run in lane 5 Wednesday at National Stadium. The final begins at 10:35 a.m. EST.
This is Tosta’s second trip to the Olympics. In 2004 in Athens, she was fourth in the 400-meter hurdles.
