Jack Langford, of Novaks Gymnastics Center, earned a silver medal at the recent Junior Olympic National Trampoline and Tumbling Championships in Kansas City.
Langford, competing in Level 10, placed second in the 13-14 age division with a score of 85.2. Teammate Tommy Coe was fifth at 82.9.
Nicholas Novak was also a fifth-place finisher in the 11-12 age group, scoring 79.8 points.
Another top-10 finisher was 15-year-old Kelsey Wasilewski, who took ninth place in Level 8.
Hannah Langford, Kira Rivers, Kira Parker and Morgan Northrop also competed in the Junior Olympic event.
Also in Kansas City, elite trampolinist Brandon English represented Novaks at the U.S. Olympic Trials — placing seventh.
“It was definitely a highlight of Brandon’s career and he will continue his training at Novaks with the 2012 Olympics in sight,” Novaks official Gena Edsall said.
