KAITLYN BARBOUR
Junior, Brentsville
Barbour led the Tigers' prolific offense by hitting five homers and driving in a team-high 32 runs. She hit .432 with an .878 slugging percentage to earn all-district honors at catcher.
ABBY CARPENTER
Freshman, Brentsville
Carpenter hit .525 as a varsity rookie and was selected to the All-Region II first team as an in-fielder. She scored 22 runs, drove in 19 and her .556 on-base percentage led the district champs.
SHANNON CLEARY
Junior, Battlefield
Few players are better under pressure than Cleary, who batted .330 with a team-high 31 hits, including four game-winners. She also played terrific defense in her first season at first base.
AMANDA HERNANDEZ
Junior, Woodbridge
A rising star in the Cardinal District, Hernandez led the Vikings to regionals by batting .423 with a team-high 20 RBI. She was named to the All-Northwest Region first team at catcher.
DEVON HILEMAN
Sophomore, Brentsville
Hileman went 9-2 with 117 strikeouts and a 1.04 ERA in the pitcher's circle as the Tigers reached the Region II semifinals. She also hit .393 to earn all Northwestern District honors.
MELISSA KIRBY
Senior, Stonewall
Kirby made a triumphant return to the circle following arm surgery and went on to earn All-Northwest Region honors by winning 12 games. She had an 0.98 ERA and 156 strikeouts.
COURTNEY LIDDLE
Junior, Battlefield
An All-Northwest Region first-team selection, Liddle led the Bobcats with a .403 battling average and a .563 on-base percentage. She has already committed to play at Virginia Tech.
GRACE NORDAN
Sophomore, Brentsville
The Northwestern District pitcher of the year went 10-0 with an 0.63 ERA and 94 strikeouts. She also batted .350 and scored 27 runs to earn All-Region II honors.
CHELSEA PAPROCKI
Senior, Forest Park
The Cardinal District's top defensive center fielder led the Bruins with a .470 batting aver-age and a .989 fielding percentage. She is headed to Monmouth University.
MEGAN SUTPHIN
Senior, Battlefield
Sutphin went 12-3 with nine shutouts, an 0.71 ERA and two saves for the Group AAA state run-ners-up. She also batted .372 and earned All-Cedar Run District honors.
TAYLOR WILLIAMS
Junior, Hylton
Williams was named the Cardinal District Player of the Year after batting .500 and scoring 22 runs for the Bulldogs. The All-Northwest Region infielder has committed to Virginia.

Congratulations to all of those outstanding players who made the all-area team ... especially those at Osbourn who had to endure a season in hell. It was amazing that you won as many games as you did with everything you had to endure. That’s what excellent coaching does ... still keeps you competitive.
