Bull Run Renegades

Osbourn Park tryouts
Osbourn Park will be holding tryouts for all upcoming ninth-12 grade students. Tryouts will be held at Osbourn Park Aug. 11 at 4:30 p.m. The rain date is August 12th. Varsity and junior varsity practice begins Aug. 5 and will run 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.  There will be a parent meeting in the Osbourn auditorium at 6 p.m. Freshmen equipment handout is August 22 at 4 p.m. and freshman practice begins Aug. 25 and will run 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Osbourn Park High School
There will be a player-parent meeting for varsity, junior varsity and freshmen teams at 6 p.m. at Osbourn Park on July 31st. Varsity and junior varsity practice begins Monday, Aug. 4 at 7 a.m. Freshmen begin Aug. 18th at 7 a.m.

Boys and Girls Club

Coaching Openings
Manassas Park High School has several openings for assistant football coaches on its jayvee and varsity staffs. Coaches must attend practices in August in the morning and evenings. Manassas Youth Football League
Due to a surge for registration, there has been an extension of the deadline for football (ages 7-16 by Oct. 1) and cheerleading (ages 5-16 by Oct. 1) at Big Joe’s Pizza through Sat. Aug. 2. ICE SKATING
Camp
Camp runs Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Camp includes daily stretching class, daily ice skating lesson, daily ice show practice and daily free skate, daily outdoor activities and crafts. Skaters will be able to perform in the ice show on Friday evenings. The cost is $250 per week before care is also available for an additional cost. Martial Arts program
Carteret Mortgage Boys & Girls Club has begun a Martial Arts program for children ages 6-14. There’s open enrollment until all spots are filled. Bull Run Association
Bull Run Officials seeking individuals interested in becoming sports officials. Bull Run Officials is a member of the Virginia High School League Association that handles basketball, softball, baseball and football. Levels of competition vary from youth recreation to Group AAA high schools. Assignments are in Prince William, Fairfax, Stafford, Loudoun County as well as other Northern Virginia areas. Gainesville Girls Fastpitch Softball
