Potomac splits series with Indians

The Potomac Nationals ended their seven-game road trip with an 8-2 victory over the Kinston Indians on Sunday.
Potomac received two-run home runs from Edgardo Baez and Marvin Lowrance.
Jemel Spearman went 3-for-4 with a double, RBI, stolen base and two runs scored. Frank Diaz was 3-for-5 with a double and run scored.
Michael Martinez had a double and drove in a run with a sacrifice fly.
Nationals starting pitcher Adrian Alaniz increased his record to 4-0 by pitching six innings of two-hit ball. He walked three and struck out six.
NOTE: Right-handed pitcher Chris Lugo has been promoted from short-season Vermont and right-handed pitcher Terrence Engles was sent down to Vermont.
Lugo pitched two innings on Sunday and gave up two runs on three hits.
