Some of Prince William County’s worst traffic hotspots – U.S. 1, Va. 28 and Minnieville Road – were included in a new wish list of road projects approved by the Board of Supervisors last week.

The list, which includes six regional and eight local projects, will be sent to the Northern Virginia Transportation Authority to be considered for funding under the state’s new transportation law, which raised local sales taxes to 6 percent last July to fund projects aimed at relieving the area’s notoriously congested roadways.

What about Old Bridge Rd.?! I invite any of these supervisors to try to drive on Old Bridge during rush hour and see how much they enjoy it. AND they continue to squeeze more housing in which will only bring more cars to a road that already can't handle the volume

U.S. 1 in Woodbridge from Marys Way to Featherstone Road should already be funded. How can they widen a road, but leave two miles in the middle unfunded?

Benita Fitzgerald to Va. 234 is just another developer road so they can build thousands of cheap tax negative houses and will clog Dale Blvd even worse than it it already.

Glad to see the stretch of Rt. 15 from Rt. 29 to Rt. 55 on this list. With the additional development in the area, the new elementary school, and current at-grade railroad crossing, getting it widened and an overpass for the railroad would improve traffic flow and safety. Hopefully it gets funded and started up ASAP.
