The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm watch for Loudoun County and other western suburbs from late Sunday night through Monday afternoon.

The weather service says five more inches of snow is expected to fall beginning after 11 p.m. Sunday, with the heaviest precipitation expected Monday morning.

For the rest of the area, the precipitation will start as rain and may change to snow. The weather service said there will be a sharp cutoff between rain and snow to the east, but exactly where isn't clear yet.

If they do, you write some diatribe about instructional time lost etc...

If you want to plan, do send your kids, and then send a note stating that you thought the conditions were too dangerous. Make a decision man!

I wish they would just cancel school now so we can plan out or day more than 30 minutes in advance.
