Legislation introduced in the General Assembly would remove the winner-take-all nature of Virginia’s electoral votes, and begin allocating them based on election returns by congressional districts.

The measure was introduced by state Sen. Charles Carrico Sr. (R-Galax). It was sent to the Senate Committee on Privileges and Elections.

As I was not a supporter of the President or Dems, in general, there's nothing you can do. We have a serious cultural problem in this area and globally. We just voted to have someone raise our taxes. We allow VA to tax us to death with property taxes, for God's sake, we're even paying $35 for a freaking drivers license. This would be the last thing on my LIST LEGISLATORS.

Lose two Presidential elections in a row and now you want to change the rules. Interesting.

First lets get rid of the gerrymandered districts we are in now! Lets base them on po districts or population centered areas. There is no way that the 1st cong district I am in now reflects the fealing of north bus 234 Manassas. The district is centered south of northern neck for gods sake! To think that cong districts are indicitive of voters? ha ha ha
