As long as water looks clear and tastes good coming out of their faucet, many people do not give a second thought as to how it arrived at the tap.
This week, The Value of Water Coalition and a host of other industry associations are training their collective eye on everything from roads and bridges to water and wastewater infrastructure in the first annual Infrastructure Week. Whether it is the more than 2,000 miles of pipes under the street, the water tower down the road or the fire hydrant in your cul-de-sac, each facility and mile of pipe the Prince William County Service Authority operates and maintains plays a vital role in keeping the county healthy and productive.
