J.B. Bukauskas keeps things loose in the dugout with his team up to bat.

Stone Bridge High School senior right-hander JB Bukauskas was named the Gatorade State Baseball Player of the Year.

Bukauskas is 7-0 this season with a 0.00 ERA. He's struck out 88 and walked six, while allowing 10 hits in 41.1 innings.

Although he is considered among the top 50 draft prospects in the country, Bukauskas has told major-league baseball teams that he plans on enrolling at the University of North Carolina next month.

Stone Bridge (19-1) hosts Freedom-South Riding Wednesday in the Conference 14 Tournament final. The game was rescheduled from Tuesday because of bad weather.
