Prince William County police officers pose with children at a National Night Out event.

Hundreds of neighborhoods across Northern Virginia were full of activity Tuesday night for the annual National Night Out.

Local law enforcement agencies host events with neighborhood watch or homeowner groups in an effort to bring officers together with the residents they protect. Several organizations in Northern Virginia host larger community events.

We've provided a list of some local events with links for more info at the bottom of this page.

Send your National Night Out community pics to info@insidenova.com.
