Police are investigating four separate reports of gunfire in eastern Prince William County over the weekend, including one case where bullets lodged in a wall.
On April 2 at 1:55 a.m., officers were called to the 13600 block of Lindendale Road in Dale City after a homeowner reported hearing several shots in front of his house.
The resident then found “several bullets” lodged in an interior wall and two bullets that struck a car parked in front of the house, said Prince William County police spokesman Nathan Probus.
“Officers checked the area and located multiple shell casings in the roadway,” Probus said.
No injuries were reported and no arrests have been made.
Also on April 2, at 10:12 p.m., police were called to the 4900 block of Kirwyn Court in Dale City to investigate reports of gunshots.
A homeowner there told police that an unknown man knocked on his door and asked for someone the owner doesn’t know.
“When the homeowner stated the person did not live there, the man left,” Probus said.
A short time later, gunshots were heard outside.
Officers checked the area and found shell casings in front of the house. No injuries were reported.
On April 1, police were called to the 2900 block of Stockholm Way in Woodbridge for a shots fired call.
Several callers reported hearing an argument outside before the gunfire, Probus said.
“Officers checked the area and did not locate any shell casings,” he said. No injuries or property damage were reported.
And on April 3 at 5:17 p.m., officers were called to Benita Fitzgerald Drive and Brazil Circle in Dale City after several residents reported hearing gunfire.
Officers found several shell casings. No injuries or property damage were reported. Last November, a man was found stabbed to death on the front porch of a townhouse on Brazil Court. Two people face murder charges in that case.

PW east = PG west.
Nice of the offenders to leave the casings behind. It should only be a matter of time before the PWPD should make arrests. It will be interesting to see what the motive is.
If this county can't get a handle on the growing crime epidemic then their will soon be an epidemic of white flight and Prince William County will become Virginia's version of PG county.
