A shooting in Manassas on Thursday led to a pursuit down Prince William Parkway and crash on Hoadly Road, ending in injuries and two arrests.

Prince William County police were notified of a a blue two-door Hyundai involved in a shooting that occurred in Manassas City, and reportedly last seen on the Prince William Parkway heading towards the Woodbridge area in the county.

Officers spotted the car in the area of Prince William Parkway and Hoadly Road around 2 p.m., where a vehicle stop was attempted. The driver ignored the officer’s emergency equipment and continued onto Hoadly Road, Prince William County police Sgt. Jonathan Perok said.

Officers pursued the vehicle to Dumfries Road where the vehicle made a left and continued towards the Dumfries area.

The vehicle encountered traffic just prior to the Shoppes at Quantico Center where the driver then attempted a right turn onto Van Buren Road, colliding with a 2006 Toyota Corolla stopped at the traffic light.

The force of the collision pushed the Toyota into a 2003 Honda Accord that was also stopped at the traffic light, Perok said. The suspect vehicle was rendered inoperable and two men were taken into custody without further incident.

The drivers of the Honda and Corolla were taken to area hospitals with non-life threatening injuries. The suspects were not injured.

A 2015 Audi A3 and two marked police SUVs, including a police K-9 vehicle, were also involved in the collision, Perok said.

There were no injuries to the officers, police K-9 or the Audi driver.

Inside the suspect vehicle, officers found suspected narcotics and two firearms, Perok said.

Following the investigation, Prince William police arrested both men in connection to the pursuit. Manassas City Police will release further information on the shooting investigation when available.

The driver and passenger of the 2017 Hyundai were both arrested following the crash.

Jatzel Martin Colon Santiago, 21,  13460 Lock Loop in Woodbridge was charged with felony eluding, possession of a schedule I or II narcotic, possession of a concealed weapon, and possession of firearm with controlled substances, Perok said.

Alexis Carrasquillo Santana, 42, Silver Spring, Maryland, was charged with possession of a schedule I or II narcotic, possession of a concealed weapon, possession of firearm with controlled substances, and possession of a firearm by convicted felon, Perok said.

The driver of the 2006 Toyota Corolla was identified as a 56-year-old man of Dumfries. The driver of the 2003 Honda Accord was identified as an 82-year-old woman of Dumfries. The driver of the 2015 Audi A3 was identified as a 39-year-old woman of Dumfries.
