The Stafford Opera Troupe staged a public performance of Henry Purcell's “Dido and Aeneas” at the culmination of the three-week 2017 Summer Opera Program, at Mountain View High School on Aug. 4.

Mentored by the faculty and with support of peer mentors at the second annual program, participants presented the Baroque opera about the Trojan hero Aeneas and his lover Dido, queen of Carthage.

The production, under the co-direction of Bree Nichols and Corinn Keene, included the following.
