Bikes for the World will be collecting unneeded bicycles, bike parts and accessories on Saturday, May 4 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. as part of the Arlington E-CARE (Environmental Collection and Recycling Event) at 1425 North Quincy St.

Collected bicycles will be sorted, refurbished and distributed to charitable organizations locally, nationally and internationally. A $10-per-bike donation is suggested to defray the cost of shipping.

For information, see the Website at www.bikesfortheworld.org.
