2017 Neighborhood College graduates

April 5 is the deadline for applications to the Arlington County govment’s 2019 “Neighborhood College” program, designed to develop civic-engagement and leadership skills.

Sessions will be held April 25 to June 13 on Thursdays from 6 to 9;15 p.m. at the county-government headquarters, 2100 Clarendon Blvd. Programs will be in English and Spanish.

Since its inception, more than 400 local residents have participated in the program, including two – Katie Cristol and Matt de Ferranti – who went on to serve on the County Board.
