Leadership Arlington hosted its annual Leadership Legacy Awards Dinner on May 23 at the Arlington Westin Gateway, honoring outstanding leadership in the nonprofit, public and private sectors. 

Leadership Legacy Award is presented to individuals or organizations demonstrating visionary thinking, service to the community a high standard of leadership ethics.   

Awards for 2012 went to Bowen McCauley Dance (Nonprofit-Sector Award), the JBG Cos. (Private-Sector Award), Arlington Fire Chief Jim Schwartz (Public-Sector Award).

At the awards program, 47 members of Leadership Arlington’s Signature Class of 2012 graduated from the program, following 10 months of training in community issues and leadership-skills development.
