Leadership Center for Excellence celebrates graduates

Yasmin Serrato-Munoz of Accenture, Kate Floyd of Arlington Commons and Banjo Obayomi of Metronome were among members of the Leadership Arlington Young Professionals Class of fall 2017.

Leadership Center for Excellence saluted the achievements of those who recently took part in its leadership-training programs with a ceremony held May 16 at the Westin Arlington Gateway Hotel.

Members of the Leadership Arlington Class of 2018 and the Young Professionals Classes of Fall 2017 and Spring 2018 were honored at the ceremony.

The keynote speaker at the event was Matthew Shank, president of Marymount University, who spoke on the attributes of gratitude, fairness, integrity and ethics.

“These are all qualities that make up ‘servant leadership’ – all things people in this room practice,” he said.
