The commander of Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall will be the featured speaker at the annual banquet of the Arlington County Civic Federation.

U.S. Army Col. Kimberly Peeples will deliver remarks at the event, to be held on April 5 at Patton Hall on the campus of Fort Myer.

The event also will include presentation of awards, including the Sun Gazette Cup for civic engagement, and a retrospective of the year from Civic Federation president Duke Banks.
