A total of 25 local businesses and organizations have been tapped for CARE (Companies As Responsive Employers) Awards, and will be honored in November by Northern Virginia Family Service.
The honorees are described as responsive employers for their outstanding employee engagement and culture, progressive family-friendly policies and deep community impact.
“Workplace flexibility, employee well-being and community stewardship are great ways for Northern Virginia companies to demonstrate commitment to strong families and a strong community,” said Stephanie Berkowitz, president and CEO at Northern Virginia Family Service.
“Such values not only attract exceptional talent, they provide an opportunity for companies to make an impact on the community around them,” Berkowitz said.

Awards will be presented at the 25th annual CARE Awards Breakfast, held Friday, Nov. 17 at the Hilton McLean Tysons Corner. To commemorate the anniversary year, a special group of industry leaders will be empaneled to inspire business and workplace evolution in the years ahead.
