McLEAN BUSINESS-DISTRICT TASK FORCE TO MEET: The next meeting of the McLean Central Business District Task Force will be held on Monday, Sept. 16 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the McLean Governmental Center, 1437 Balls Hill Road.

The study of the downtown are began in 2018; the committee is working with county staff to translate vision into reality.

W. FALLS CHURCH PLANNING PANEL TO MEET: The next meeting of the West Falls Church Transit Station Area Task Force will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 17 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Northern Virginia Center, 7054 Haycock Road in Falls Church.

The task force is studying development of the parcel and evaluate potential impacts on transportation, public facilities, schools and the environment.

VIENNA TO HOST BUSINESS-ROUNDTABLE SESSIONS: The Vienna Town-Business Liaison Committee has announced plans for a series of roundtable conversations focuses on sustaining a thriving business environment in the town.

“Business owners and managers are encouraged to bring relevant issues to the roundtable so that they, as well as a prepared set of items, may be discussed,” town officials said in announcing the effort.

The first meeting will be held on Thursday, Oct. 10 at 6 p.m. at Town Hall, with a focus on the Mill Street/Dominion Street corridor.
