Greenhill Winery awarded Gold medal at 2019 Governor's Cup

Greenhill Winery was awarded a Gold medal for their 2017 Chardonnay Reserve by the Virginia Wineries Association annual Governor's Cup. Additional awards included Silver for the 2017 Petit Verdot and Silver for the 2017 Viognier. Estate bottled and produced, the Chardonnay Reserve is a Middleburg AVA vintage.

"It is an honor to represent the town of Middleburg at this important Virginia competition," said Owner, David Greenhill. "Our goal is to increase the visibility of our unique American Viticulture Area both statewide and internationally."

The winner of the Governor’s Cup will be announced at the Virginia Governor’s Cup Gala on February 26, 2019; the other 11 wines that make the Governor’s Cup Case® will also be recognized.
