CaddieNow, of Haymarket, hired Tommy Joyce as chief operating officer, announced the caddie programming firm’s founder & CEO, Dave Cavossa.

Joyce, a 25-year PGA member, most recently was co-founder and director of operations of Evolution|HR, a staffing agency focused on career development.

“Tommy understands our objectives and has the industry insider knowledge and talent to help take our company to the next level,” Cavossa said.

At CaddieNow, Joyce will direct all caddie and customer operational departments, including caddie service managers, orientations and employee training, caddie services implementation and support, and assist in sales. He brings extensive industry experience, has managed build-out for new caddie programs, overseen human resources.

He now supervises the existing 4,000 independent contracted caddies, caddie recruitment departments and leads in alignment with the mission, value and strategic framework of the company.

“Bringing caddies back is compelling to the many clubs looking to keep their members engaged,” said Joyce.  “But the most exciting aspect of CaddieNow is their leadership in creating the largest workforce platform and operations solution in golf.”
