Grocery store Lidl will be opening its newest Northern Virginia location in Woodbridge on Jan. 11, the company announced.
Located at 2070 Tacketts Village Square, the store will open at 8 a.m., after a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 7:40 a.m.
It is Lidl’s fourth store in Northern Virginia. A Manassas location opened earlier this year.
Lidl is part of a growing trend of European grocers opening in the U.S. with shelves stocked with exclusive brands instead of traditional name brands.
The first 100 customers to arrive will also receive a wooden coin for a chance to win up to $100 in Lidl gift cards. Shoppers can also sample an array of Lidl’s products and get a complimentary Lidl reusable bag while supplies last.
The Woodbridge store will be 20,000 square feet with six aisles, including LIdl’s exclusive wine selection, bakery and more.
Stores will be open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday-Sunday.
