The Virginia Alcoholic Beverage Control Authority store at 356 Garrisonville Road, Suite 123, in Stafford’s Doc Stone Commons shopping center will be closed through mid-July for an expansion and remodeling project.

The project will include expansion of the space to 4,140 square feet, a 41 percent increase. In Fiscal 2017, the store sold more than 270,000 products and generated just over $4.4 million in gross sales.

“After 17 years of serving a busy and constantly growing area, the store needs an upgrade,” said Chief Retail Operations Officer Jeff Reeder. “The remodeled store will provide a more efficient and pleasant shopping experience for our Stafford customers.”

During the closure, customers can shop for distilled spirits at ABC stores located at 2757 Jefferson Davis Hwy., in the Aquia Park Shopping Center in Stafford and at 560 Celebrate Virginia Parkway in the Celebrate Virginia North Shopping Center in Fredericksburg.

Customers may also order spirits online for pick-up in the store of their choice. For more, visit abc.virginia.gov.
