Area homeowners and businesses have a new junk removal service when the clutter and debris get too much: Vets Haul Junk. The firm serves Stafford, Quantico and Frederickburg.

Owned and operated by a U.S. Army veteran who served in Afghanistan, the idea for Vets Haul Junk came to Joseph Martinez as he recuperated at the Warrior Transition Battalion (Wounded Warrior Barracks) at Fort Bliss, Texas, according to a news release.

“Vets Haul Junk started out as a way for me to make some extra dollars using the values I learned in the U.S. Army to grow my business – respect, honesty and a hard work ethic. In turn, my new business gave me a way to cope with my PTSD” said Martinez.

The company specializes in general junk removal and has flat-rate pricing.
