A single ticket in South Carolina matched the winning numbers in the $1.6 billion Mega Millions jackpot, but there are still a lot of winners in Virginia.

A ticket purchased in Dale City was one of two to match the first five numbers in Tuesday’s drawing, making it worth $1 million.

The winning numbers were 5, 28, 62, 65 and 70, and the Mega Ball 5.

The local million-dollar ticket was purchased at the Giant Food at 4309 Dale Boulevard. The state's second big ticket was purchased in Aylett.

Several other Northern Virginia tickets were worth big prizes Tuesday night.

A $30,000 ticket was purchased at the 7-Eleven at 11854 Sunrise Valley Drive in Reston.
