The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is searching for the driver of a pickup involved in a road rage incident Saturday night.

It happened around 8:18 p.m. in the area of Evergreen Mills Road near English Yew Place. The victim had pulled onto Evergreen Mills Road from Shreve Mill Road when a truck began tailgating, the county Sheriff's Office said in a news release.

The driver and passenger continued to travel on Evergreen Mills Road into the Town of Leesburg when they heard a loud noise and the rear window of the vehicle shattered.

"It appears at this time the window was damaged by an unknown projectile but the exact cause remains under investigation," the news release said.

No one was injured.

Investigators described the truck as having four doors and wide side mirrors.

If you are the owner of the vehicle or if you have any information regarding the possible owner, you are asked to contact Detective S. Coderre of the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division at 703-777-1021.
