Prince William and Manassas police are investigating a string of five burglaries in  less than an hour between Gainesville and Manassas.

County investigators determined that two unidentified men wearing dark clothes broke into the businesses between 3:17 a.m. and 3:53 a.m. on Sept. 13, police spokesperson Officer Nathan Probus said.

The sites burglarized included the Walgreens at 4985 Wellington Road, the Exxon service station at 14675 Lee Highway, the Verizon Store located at 7457 Hillwood Drive and the Raceway service station at 7402 Sudley Road.

The thieves took several cartons of cigarettes, money and safes before fleeing the area in a vehicle, Probus said.

They’re described as two black males, around 6-foot-1 and between 190 pounds and 230 pounds with brown eyes. Both men were wearing black hoodies, pants, shoes and gloves.

Manassas police are investigating a similar burglary at the Valero convenience store at 8536 Sudley Road around 3:45 a.m. A safe was reported stolen, police spokesperson Sarah Maroney said.

My understanding is this is fake news and there is a video to prove it. The young mans pants were never down and the produce never touched his butt. What’s the deal @Inside nova? I thought you were above the fake news business??
