A Triangle man is facing burglary and drug charges after allegedly breaking into a Walmart and inhaling several cans of an unspecified cleaning product, according to Prince William County police.
Officers located Logan Vinton Epperly, 27, of 18432 Woodland Drive, lying outside the store at 17041 Jefferson Davis Highway around 4:08 a.m. Monday morning, police spokesperson Officer Nathan Probus said.
Walmart employees reported seeing a man, later identified as Epperly, walking around inside the store while it was closed. He had reportedly entered the store using a narrow opening, stole the cans and proceeded to inhale the product, Probus said.
He left the building and laid down outside where officers eventually located him, and was detained and treated at a local hospital as a precaution.
Epperly faces charges of burglary and inhaling drugs or other noxious chemical substances. His case is pending and he is being held without bond.
