A Manassas man is accused of rubbing grocery store produce on his backside and putting it back on the shelf, police spokesperson Sarah Maroney said.

The Giant Food at 10100 Dumfries Road had to destroy several pallets of produce following the incident Sept. 15, Maroney said.

Michael Dwayne Johnson, 27, was charged with destruction of property and indecent exposure.

A store employee reported Johnson was seen picking up produce, pulling down his pants and rubbing the produce on his buttocks, Maroney said.

Johnson was arrested at the store.
