An Arizona man is facing several charges, including three counts of peeping, after a June 30 incident at a Manassas-area hotel, according to Prince William police.
Miles Jay Payne, 32, of Coolidge, was also charged with two counts of unlawful entry, one count of destruction of property and one count of possession of a scheduled I or II narcotic, police spokesperson Officer Nathan Probus said.
Employees at the Wyndham Garden Hotel at 10800 Vandor Lane reported that an unknown man, later identified as Payne, damaged several hotel room doors around 3:18 a.m. June 30.
Officers determined Payne had removed peepholes to several occupied rooms, Probus said. He was found in an unoccupied room that he had used force to enter.
Payne was reportedly under the influence of methamphetamine, which was found in his pocket following his arrest, Probus said.
Payne is being held without bond and expected in court on Sept. 5.
