Prince William police are investigating three business burglaries early on Aug. 26.
Officers responded to an alarm at Honeybaked Ham at 2950 Prince William Parkway around 1:20 a.m., police spokesperson Officer Nathan Probus said.
Officers found the rear door to the restaurant had been forced open, and a safe and dolly were missing, Probus said.
The burglars were not found during a search of the area, but the dolly was located behind a nearby business.
Around 5 a.m., employees of the Starbucks at Fortuna Center Plaza off Dumfries Road reported that the glass door at the front of the business had been shattered, along with the door at the Escape Day Spa next door, Probus said.
Sometime between 2:30 and 4:45 a.m., burglars entered the businesses. They stole money and merchandise from the Starbucks, and an ATM from the day spa.
Police searched the area, but the burglars weren’t located.
