A Shell convenience store was robbed overnight in southeastern Prince William County.

An employee of the store at 3186 River Heritage Boulevard told police an unknown man used a large rock to shatter the glass door around 2:52 a.m., police spokesperson Officer Nathan Probus said.

The man demanded money from the employee and left with an undisclosed amount of cash. No injuries were reported.

A police dog wasn’t able to find the robber.

The man is described as black, between 20 and 30 years old, between 5-foot-9 and 6-foot-2, with a thin build and crew-cut short hair. He was wearing a white shirt over his face, a gray sweatshirt, blue jeans and gray shoes.
