Detectives have released a sketch of the suspect after a jogger was attacked in Leesburg over the weekend.

The woman was jogging on the Ida Lee Trail near the Rust Library in the 300 block of Old Waterford Road around 6:50 a.m. Sunday when an unknown man approached her and grabbed her, according to a Leesburg police news release.

The woman screamed and the suspect fled the area on foot toward Old Waterford Road. He was described as a Hispanic male in his 20s wearing a red hoodie and blue or gray sweatpants.

Detectives continue to investigate this incident and are asking anyone with any information to contact Detective M. Kadric at 703-771-4500 or the anonymous Leesburg Crime Line at 703-443-8477.
