Stafford County investigators have released a photo of a tattoo in hopes of identifying a man found dead along River Road early Saturday morning.
The body showed signs of trauma and the death has been ruled a homicide, according to the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office.
The tattoo shows a woman with most of her face covered and only her nose and mouth visible as she is putting a finger up to her lips to encourage silence. The tattoo also has Roman numerals at the top. It’s located on the man’s forearm.
A deputy on River Road found the body on the side of the road at 4:30 a.m. Saturday.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Sheriff's Office at (540) 658-4400.
