A Spotsylvania County woman charged last week after authorities say she was found naked in a Stafford day care was arrested again the next day for an assault in a convenience store bathroom.
It all started about 5 a.m. April 4, when deputies were called to the Kids on the Move Learning Center at 628 Cambridge St. Employees arrived to open the business, turned on the lights and discovered a naked female in the doorway of a classroom, the Stafford Sheriff's Office said in a news release.
"The naked female told the employee that she was trespassing," the news release said. "The second employee heard the commotion and also observed the naked female in the business.
"The two employees then exited the daycare and called the Sheriff’s Office from the safety of a vehicle," the release said.
Deputies arrived and encountered the woman, who was then clothed and "wielding a fork in each hand," the release said.
Deputies were able to take the woman into custody without incident.
Heaven Conner, 23, of Spotsylvania was charged with unauthorized entry and indecent exposure, the sheriff's office said. She was taken to the Rappahannock Regional Jail and later released on bond.
Then on Friday, April 5, she was arrested again at the Wawa after an assault at the Wawa at 72 Austin Park Drive.
Deputies were called to the convenience store at 5:09 p.m., where a man told them he was using the bathroom when "a woman in a bathroom stall reached out from underneath and began tugging on his pants, pulling them in a downward motion," the sheriff's office said in a news release.
The victim then exited the restroom and called police.
The woman involved in the incident was located in one of the stalls in the men’s restroom and arrested. Heaven Conner is now jailed without bond on charges of assault and battery, the news release said.
