Old Hickory Golf Club in Woodbridge hosted the 25th annual “Tee Off for Education” Golf Classic to benefit SPARK, the Education Foundation for Prince William County Public Schools on Aug. 3. Sponsored by Moseley Architects, Ayala Electric, Cintas, and over 45 other sponsors and donors, the sold-out event raised funds to support public education in Prince William County, specifically the SPARK Innovative Grants Program, according to a news release.

Through its Innovative Grants Program, the foundation invests in programs that directly and measurably affect student achievement. These programs may affect a single classroom, a team of teachers, an individual school or the entire school division. Grants are awarded up to $5,000 and are reviewed monthly by a panel of educators and business leaders in the community.
