Tickets currently are on sale for the May 18 spring benefit to benefit McLean Project for the Arts.

Funds support efforts ranging from the annual MPAartfest to exhibitions throughout the year.

The event “provides a wonderful opportunity for our community of supporters to come together,” said organization executive director Lori Carbonneau. “The majority of our funding comes from the generosity of individual donors, so we are delighted to continue this long-standing MPA fund-raising tradition.”

The event will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. at the home of Matthew and Pat Bullock, and will include a silent auction of contemporary paintings. A VIP reception will precede the general event.

Tickets are $350 each, with sponsorship packages ranging from $1,000 to $10,000. For information, call (703) 790-1953 or see the Web site at www.mpaart.org.
