Teen wins $1M in lottery scratcher

An Alexandria 19-year-old is the Virginia Lottery’s latest $1 million winner.

Logan Keator had some extra cash, so he decided to play the Virginia Lottery’s 20X The Money game, according to a news release.

“It feels crazy!” he told lottery officials as he claimed his prize. “I still can’t believe it!”

The chances of winning the $1 million top prize in this game are 1 in 1,224,000.

Keator chose a cash option of $610,874 before taxes. An auto mechanic, Keator said he has no immediate plans for the winnings except to pay bills.

Keator purchased the ticket at the Shoppers at 7005 Manchester Blvd. The store receives a $10,000 bonus from the Virginia Lottery for selling the winning ticket.

Lottery officials say there are two more top prizes available in the 20X The Money scratcher.

A 19yr old gear head who just won $600k? I see a lot of high performance parts getting delivered to his house in the near future.
