Authorities say a Gainesville man wanted on felony drug charges led Loudoun County sheriff's deputies on a chase late Friday afternoon.
Deputies saw Shawn K. Murray, 36, of Gainesville driving in the Hamilton area around 4:30 p.m. and attempted to stop him on Harmony Church Road, the sheriff's office said in a news release.
The driver fled, traveling south on U.S. 15. During the pursuit, the suspect sideswiped one vehicle and rear-ended another at the traffic circle at 15 and U.S. 50 in Gilberts Corner, where the pursuit came to an end.
Murray was taken into custody and charged in Loudoun with felony reckless driving and driving on a revoked license, the news release said.
He is also held on felony drug charges out of Prince William County. Murray is being held without bond at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center.
The driver and a passenger in the vehicle that was rear-ended were treated for minor injuries.
