The Quantico Innovation Center is still accepting applications for its startup technology competition - QuIC Innovation Challenge. Selected companies receive no-cost space in the incubator / accelerator for six months. The application deadline has been extended until July 28, according to a news release.
Benefits includes access to subject matter experts, networking opportunities, seminars and workshops, and the chance to participate in a pitch event with funding sources. “The competition allows entrepreneurs to work in a professional environment, while getting the business assistance needed to become successful” said Michael Tentnowski, executive director.
The QuIC Challenge is particularly focused on emerging technology companies developing innovation in cybersecurity, big data, cloud services, and other IT solutions. Applicants submit a preliminary business plan. Women, minority and veteran-owned businesses are especially encouraged to apply. The application and rules are available at www.quictech.net.
